Overall Call:
Director Tony Scott has put together an effective thriller. Redford and Pitt are two generations of heartthrobs who fill their roles well. The script is filled with numerous components you have seen before, but as always if you care enough for the cast you tend to not notice the recycled plot points. The camera work is always changing things up and never visually dull. The locations used added a nice touch of texture. While the soundtrack was a bit forced with rock-out material it never seemed over the top. Overall the film doesn't break any new ground but it travels down the well-worn road in engaging style.

Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Redford is excellent in a tailor made role
+ Entertaining camera work and nice use of locations.
