If you are looking for a mentally challenging mysterious thriller look no further than Memento. Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan have penned an exciting original script. Chronology is the key to this backward told tale. Our protagonist Leonard Shelby played convincingly by Guy Pearce suffers from having no use of his short term memory. This is triggered by the traumatic event of his wife being raped and murdered. After that event he can no longer remember anything past a couple minutes. The movie is all premise and then backed up with a well written and executed script. It kept me guessing and involved the whole time. The way it unfolds or really infolds was a fun twist that didn't get old or tired. This film hands you very little and allows you to work your own head around the plot. I thoroughly enjoyed it, I think you will too. It makes for a great video so you can rewind and double check various plot points. Check it out.
