Overall Call:
This film is geared toward a particular taste. Perhaps, intelligent character study chic flick might give you an idea of where it is coming from. Hunter, DeVito and Queen Latifah are all very solid in their portrayals and the story is laced with excellent humor. This is a well executed soap opera with an intelligent script and scenes that take their time. The whole story is not delivered with your typical plotted outline. If you want things all wrapped up in the end this might not be for you. However, if you're looking for a rainy night relationship story with style and flair I would recommend Living Out Loud.

Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Solid three leads
+ Uniquely told story.
