Overall Call:
Little Odessa wasn't perfect but does have a lot going for it. The story is heavy and very dramatic containing much family strife. The performances are very good and James Gray helps capture a great visual style of New York City. Some of the plot has been done before, many times. If however, the theme, actors or settings pull you in it makes for an engaging hour-and-a-half.
Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Tim Roth and Edward Furlong are great as brothers
+ Visually captures NYC
