Overall Call:
I generally appreciate the films Reese Witherspoon selects, her performance this time out is excellent once again. She is the main reason this film succeeded for me. I cared for the other characters but you've met them all before, in zillions other movies. What saved the reconstituted characters were fairly decent stabs at them by the actors. The story is the general fish out of water. Elle Woods is a pampered L.A. sorority girl, who enters Harvard Law School to win back her boyfriend, but learns much more about life in the process. If the packaging of this film seems like something you would be interested in, check it out you'll enjoy it.
