Overall Call:
This film is exactly what you'd expect it to be - a big Hollywood blockbuster with an empty plot and non-stop dino-chasing. The acting works and the digital effects are great. There are some surprising attempts at humor too. Spielberg's absence from the directing chair is noticeable but not necessarily in a bad way. For the third installment all you really want is a whole bunch of dino encounters at a brisk pace, not to have the dinosaurs change you're thoughts on humanity. Director Joe Johnston delivers just that, a well-paced chase movie. Any attempt to slow down and deliver exposition is quite noticeable, and never lasts long. Overall if you want dinosaur chasing and great visuals Jurassic III delivers just that.
Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Great dinosaur sequences
+ Quick pace gets you right through the film
