Overall Call:
Anyone who liked, still likes, or is interested in grunge or how pop culture just ruins the meaning behind what most non-mainstream movements are about, should check out Hype!. If you're familiar with the Seattle music scene, you are probably also aware of the pervasive jaded sense of humor about the whole grunge movement and it is ever present in the film. Again if anything mentioned here gets your goat check out the documentary, it's a well executed film.
Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Well put together documentary about the coming out of grunge to pop-culture.
