Overall Call:
Ghost World is not your run of the mill coming of age story. It is a delightfully funny and skewed look at two outsider best friends that graduate from high school and then forge ahead in life in different ways. The acting is very realistic and takes several serious stabs at stereotypical personality types. There are a handful of hysterical cameos throughout the film. The pacing is very casual and really gives off the feeling of a slow hot prodding summer. Terry Zwigoff also directed Crumb, the documentary about the eccentric cartoonist. That should shed light on the slant of this film, which is loaded with dark humor and odd characters. If this sounds good, check it out.

Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Humorous character cameos
+ Solid acting by the leads
