Overall Call:
Anyone that has held any kind of office job can relate to this sardonic look at the mundane. Jill Sprecher captures the trivial aspects of routine office life boredom perfectly. The film moves along at what seems at first like a slow pace. At second glance though she is just setting the stage enabling you to identify with the leads total catatonic boredom with work. Even within the slow start there is plenty of humorous subtleties to help get you through it. Then things pick up as the girls plot and connive against there delusional adversary. When looking at the films leads it goes almost with out saying they all give rich portrayals. Clockwatchers is a nice compliment to Office Space. Where Office Space is over the top hilarity, Clockwatchers is a more subdued and subtle look at the same theme. Granted when picking out a movie to escape the days worries you might not want to jump into a movie about office life. If ever you've had it with your job Clockwatchers will commiserate right along with you. When in the mood for this type of flick give it a chance I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Great subtle sardonic humor on mundane topics
+ Theme anyone who has been in an office can relate to.
+ Solid cast of actors
