Overall Call:
This film is not for those looking for a light and fun Hollywood tale to brighten their dreary work week. If you want an interesting and potentially off putting story; read further. Chuck and Buck is a well told story that gives you just enough information to keep you presupposing but never solidifying your stance on the titles characters. It is told in an objective style that allows you to take the facts and decide for yourself on how the characters became who they are today. The two leads were great at dealing with subtle yet intense situations letting you totally get into their discomfort. Mike White plays Buck with just enough eerie leering to create an uneasy vibe while still pulling you in to sympathize with Buck's plight. Lupe Ontiveros as Beverly Franco is a fantastic and needed comic relief to lighten the story from time to time. Chuck and Buck is an odd, interesting, creepy, well told and acted story. When in the mood to stray from the norm check it out.

Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Eerily great acting
+ Well told story
+ Nice divergence from the Hollywood norm
