Overall Call:
This one seemed to be a big crowd pleaser. Those I saw it with reacted boisterously in most of the right moments and seemed to like the film. I enjoyed the film too, just not as much as others did. Unfortunately it fell under the "typical Hollywood flick" category. The main outline of the film has been done to death. There were several funny moments delivered at the humility of Bridget Jones. These moments and an array of daffy family members helped along the overused love story theme. All in all if you liked the book you'll like this competent and cute romantic comedy.

Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Some funny situational humor
+ Supporting cast/family is entertaining
