Overall Call:
Big Night is a tribute to simplicity. The story of two conflicting brothers trying desperately to succeed with their restaurant that they both believe in, but have different ideas of how to accomplish their goal. One wants to compromise to keep the establishment afloat and one will not hear of it. All this leads up to the grand finally of the Big Night when it's make it or break it. The acting is all very good and the humor is consistent throughout, always simple and funny. If you have a passion for food and appreciate a slow evenly paced film please check it out. It is equivalent to sitting down and really enjoying a meal and each facet of it - the surroundings, the food presentation, the mixture of taste and consistencies and fulfillment including the final dinner mint (the films dinner mint is the final scene; an actor's dream).

Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Simplicity at its finest
+ Solid acting and story telling
+ Consistent wit through out
