Overall Call:
Beyond Suspicion had a very short release and plays to a select small audience. The video title is misleading; its original title was Auggie Rose. The story is very slow moving and is more of about what is going on in the heads of the main characters than big obvious gestures. The story is a bit heavy handed in its, don't have any regrets about life choices, theme. An even glossier version of the same story line would be The Family Man (Nicolas Cage and Tea Lioni). But if you like to dig a bit deeper and avoid being bludgeoned with sappy forced sentimentality, Beyond Suspicion might be more up your alley. Both leads are very good Heche is consistently believable and Goldblum is interestingly quirky in his mannerisms and delivery. Be patient with this one and you should enjoy the road it takes you on.
Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Excellent leads (Goldblum and Heche)
+ Interesting story of an old theme
