I'm going to recommend this one with some precursory warnings. I rather enjoyed the self-indulgent story and characters. For those very familiar with the actors, I think you will to. I have followed the performances of Parker Posey, Kevin Kline and John C. Reilly, for some time now. So the thin characters they inhabited for this film were entertaining for me. Most of the characters are the Hollywood types you admire from a far, but once you're personally familiar with them that admiration is lost. There is some very truthfully written dialog and a particularly entertaining performance by Jane Adams as Clair Forsyth. I would liken this film to a home movie of close acquaintances. If you are familiar with the people in the home movie, you can watch it and enjoy seeing what they are up to. If you don't know them the viewing can quickly become tedious.
