Overall Call:
I loved this movie. So often "realistic" relationship flicks are either too boring or just plain unrealistic. This one rings true on all levels. Nothing appears strained about the picture. The humor and dialogue seem to just flow organically. The characters make poor decisions in their lives, as we all do, that's how you learn and hopefully don't repeat that behavior. The cast definitely makes an engaging display of these choices. I look forward to what Ken Lonergan, Laura Linney and Mark Ruffalo have to offer in the future. Do not be mislead by the subject matter into thinking it's just a girls night out relationship movie, this is for anyone. If this one doesn't show up at a theatre near you, keep it in mind and rent it!
