Overall Call:
This was a nice way of either revisiting or educating (in a very surface way) the Cuban Missile Crisis. The portrayals are well done. At times I was a bit board. The story could have moved along a little faster and the mellow drama, especially Costners scenes, were a little on the aged cheddar side. I was also thrown off to the point of distraction by Costners overwhelmingly self-conscious Bastan accent. I guess I would recommend this film only to those who really want to revisit that point in history. It has been well received by critics, but I wonder how engaging it is for those uninterested in the subject matter.

Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Made a history lessen mildly entertaining
+ Nice portrayal of the Kennedy Brothers
