Overall Call:
Well this one is rather disturbing. Session 9 falls under the horror, heavy mental trip type film. The story line is original enough. Asbestos removal crew and an insane asylum seem like an interesting match. The film prods along as you eagerly await the individual developing plots. Ultimately the film is a real scare and is effective in accomplishing what it set out to do. I do wish the separate plot lines had come together a little more thoroughly. Session 9 is an effective indie fright flick. I can see this one becoming big on video for late night slumber parties.

Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Original story
+ Effective in its attempt at a disturbing and frightening scare
