Overall Call:
Series 7 definitely accomplishes what it set out to do. It makes a sad statement on how society is quickly becoming desensitized and starved for entertainment. The film is a spoof on reality shows like Big Brother and Survivor. Series 7 is a type of cat and mouse chase to the death (literally). The film is over the top in its violence and shouldn't be taken seriously (keep in mind squeamish ones there is a healthy dose of blood). But that becomes the problem by the end of the film, you become as unfazed as the cast. The highlight for me was the Narrator. His intensity coupled with his dialog was hysterical. The spoof angle is dead on in its send up of the banal attempts at contrived drama that the latest reality shows reach for. The genius aspect of it all is that the film was completed before the first Survivor hit the air. It has been in movie limbo looking for a distributor for a little while. Now with the whopping success of the latest onslaught of reality programing a distributor has snatched it up. The one down side is the send up gets a bit tired near the end and seemed as though many of the gags could have been tightened up a bit. Overall the film was entertaining, I do recommended it. If the limited release doesn't make to your town it will make a great rental.

Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Frighteningly accurate commentary
+ Funny dark witted spoof
