Overall Call:
I went into this one with relatively low expectations and they were meet with a little extra sauce on the side. Steve Zahn and Jack Black are two well teamed rising comedic talents to watch out for. This film is just a testing ground I'm sure. After they successfully squeezed out every last bit of funny juice from this script, I anxiously await them starring in a solid venture. They have both had brilliant supporting roles (Zahn in Out of Sight and Black in High Fidelity; both well worth checking out). Everyone involved is aware the script is a vehicle for jokes and gags and nothing more. Among the many attempts for funny, I guess enough landed for me to recommend this one. Those that want to give their brain a rest upon purchasing their will be satisfied. It's good to do that every once and a while.
Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Frequently funny moron humor
+ Steve Zahn and Jack Black make the most of what they are given
+ Neil Diamond shows up in the flesh
