Overall Call:
Well it seems that financially this picture couldn't go wrong with the two itest its in the business right now. What would help of course is if the film is any good. For the most part it is. The movie is not just another Sweet November Story of Us One Fine Day in Autumn. Yes at it's core it is about a troubled relationship, but the story does go beyond that and I definitely appreciated it. The actual couple doesn't even share that much screen time together. I would imagine the characters attracted the actors for their against type quirky non-glamorous attributes. Both leads are kinda nincompoops. Even if forced a little Pitt and Roberts do pull it off in the end. The story moves along well and the subplots are as engaging as the main story. Performance wise, James Gandolfini stole the show for me. He was honest, down to earth and sold me hook line and sinker quickly becoming the bright spot in the film. Overall I think you know what your getting into with this added information about the story. So if in the mood for Pitt and Roberts the story won't disappoint.
Reasons For Recommendation:
+ James Gandolfini steals the show
+ Subplots as strong if not stronger than the main one
+ Fun flick
