Overall Call:
Bill Paxton in his directorial debut has put together a nice little spooky thriller. The premise is an interesting one of deciding on the father's mental state. The strength of the film rides significantly upon the script. A well-written story will usually help you through some mediocre acting or directing. Overall it is a small effective thriller that will keep you guessing until its conclusion.

Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Great script/story
