Overall Call:
13 Conversations About One Thing is Jill Sprecher's well-executed follow up to Clockwatchers. This film is in the same indie tone as Clockwatchers and is more about inner character struggle than outward showmanship. The acting is very strong all through the ensemble cast, as they trust in the dialogue and the directors' vision. The average viewer may become bogged down by the lack of explosions and car chases but on further investigation the eye candy is present it's just occurring in the characters minds. All in all if your looking for a contemplative character study break from big Hollywood hoopla I highly recommend this film.
Reasons For Recommendation:
+ Excellent ensemble
+ Well-executed character study
